I start from small shop individually, doing IT Solution business, i couldn’t get any benefit as it was big competitive in the market, in the same time i was doing graphic design for my company needs, logo, business card, brochure, letterhead and envelopes. everyone was joking on me, they say this is Iraq not America and Europe, why you waste your time for this graphic designs! nobody will purchase from you because of your logo design, you need to find a chip soars to top up the market needs , i insisted on my job to give a moderated professional service, away from copy, and the old fashion services that was available at that time in our graphic designer’s market, I get my first customer for graphic design and printing, who was one of my closest friends, he said we are looking for a graphic agency like you, doing a professional design for the exhibition that we participate. and i did a good job for them back that time. my benefit was $1500 from that business. which is i shay to share that designs for now, it’s so behind to my current level. at that time i was doing my business part time, and working full time in my first job as a Manager in one of the technical department. i quit my full time job, when i sow i can make benefit of $1500 at the same time i was just getting $600 for my monthly check at my first job., next step i get a chance to design for a one of the biggest company in our region, i designed the logo, they liked and accepted, at that time my business was so small, just registered for few month, i was so shy to ask for a high price, i just asked for $200 for a logo design that i spend more than 1 week of working, and i proposed 36 samples. after that i get famous name in the market that i designed for one of the biggest company in the region, this company after they build a trust with me, they assign me a big project at that time, the total cost was $70,000. it was surprised for me, how to managed, i found a solution at that time, and i give them more than what they expect. back that time, our employee increase to 7 person in a small shop, there was not enough room for us, we just moved to a bigger place, building with three floor, i was so scared, always thinking can i afford pay for the rent, my wife motivated me all the time, she say bigger place being bigger order, she was interviewing new employees and employee them very quickly, i told her how we can pay them, she said don't worry every employee bring potboiler with them self. it’s come true. we get 2nd big job and third big job which help us get much bigger, now we expand to a three company and there are 50 employee running this businesses.
